cy,frp and cu,frp are taken from a separate moment-curvature analysis (per ACI 440 Example 16.10, Fig. 16.10b).

Batch Assessment of Existing Beams
ACI 440.2R-17 / ACI 318M-14 — flags beams whose factored demand exceeds φMn or φVn (D/C > 1.0)

Per-row f'c / fy in the grid override these defaults. φ per ACI 318M-14 § 21.2 (flex 0.65–0.90, shear 0.75).
Tip: paste from Excel directly into the grid (Ctrl+V).

CFRP System — Flexural Strengthening (ACI 440.2R-17 Ch. 10)
Per-beam MDL / MLL in kN-m. Mu = 1.2 MDL + 1.6 MLL.
No results yet — click Compute Flexure (FRP).
CFRP System — Shear Strengthening (ACI 440.2R-17 Ch. 11)
Per-beam VDL / VLL in kN. Vu = 1.2 VDL + 1.6 VLL.

Midas Beam Design — CFRP Flexure & Shear Strengthening
Pull beam forces from a Midas RC beam-design Excel or live MIDAS Gen API, then size CFRP for flexure (Ch. 10) and shear (Ch. 11) in separate sub-tabs.

Midas Mu is treated as required capacity (MDL = MLL = 0); ACI 440 §9.2 strengthening-limit check is skipped.

Names default to bare DL/SDL/LL; the fetch tries the (ST)-suffixed form first (matches Results → Records Activation Dialog). For an envelope, set DL to e.g. RC ENV_STR(CB:max) and clear SDL/LL. Section prefix: blank = all BEAM elements. Mu envelope = 1.2(MDL + MSDL) + 1.6 MLL at I, 1/2, J. JSON loader accepts the flexure-failed beams export — Beam ID / Zone (End I / Midspan / End J) / b / h / f'c / fy / No. Bars / Dia / M_DL / M_LL.
Each beam = envelope of I/M/J: max |M(−)|, max M(+).
No results yet — upload a Midas file or load sample, then click Compute Flexure (Top+Bot).
CFRP System — Shear Wrap Geometry (ACI 440.2R-17 Ch. 11)
Material (fiber, nply, tf, Ef, εfu*, exposure) is taken from the CFRP System panel above.
Vu = |VENV| if non-zero, else 1.2(VDL+VSDL) + 1.6 VLL. Fetch from MIDAS auto-fills shear forces.
No results yet — fetch from MIDAS or load sample, then click Compute Shear.
